Long time no diary. I arrived at Japan safely one month ago. I didn’t think about continuing writing diary in English using this blog, but I became worried about losing my English skill which I got from NZ life. That’s why I’m writing diary again now. I have a lot of stories which I really want to write about. First of all, I want to write about the day when I arrived at Japan. My flight was complicated that I needed to transfer in Sydney Australia, and Narita in Japan. When I arrived at Sydney, I just thought I wanted to see my family, but when I arrived at Japan, I was impressed by a lot of things. There were a lot of Japanese food!!!! I tried to go on diet during the last two months in NZ, but when I saw Japanese sweets, they looked so nice that I couldn’t help buying some of them. As soon as I bought them, I opened the package and ate them. They reminded me of Japan, and needless to say, they were very delicious. While I fried from Narita to Nagoya, I could see Mt. Fuji. The weather was so beautiful that I could see it clearly. I was impressed by it and I couldn’t help saying ‘Wow!!!’ The kind cabin attendant sat next to me and she explained where we were on the map, and talked to me kindly. I had a good time during the flight. Finally, I arrived at Nagoya where my family waited for me. When I went to arrival gate, I could find my mother and my grand mother soon. They looked happy to see me, and I was so happy to see them as well. They helped to carry my luggage and I saw my older brother. I tried to hug him for joking, and he refused me. We hadn’t seen each other for almost eight months, but he hadn’t changed anything. It doesn’t matter for him how long we don’t meet each other. His behavior is always same. Anyway, we went to restaurant in the airport. My mother intended to go to Ekimen where I worked before I went to NZ, but we were to hungry to wait to eat so that we ate lunch at the airport. They asked me what I wanted to eat, but everything was okay for me as long as it was Japanese food. Finally, my mother chose one restaurant and I ordered the noodle set which comes with Miso Katsu Don. They were not very nice, but I think I expected too much .. Maybe they were nice. When we arrived at Ichinomiya station, I dropped in at Ekimen to say hi to my friends. Unfortunately, there were only a few friends who were my close friends, but it was okay. I just stayed there for a few minutes and went to the department store in the station. While I was there I rang my boyfriend up. I called him also when I arrived at airport, but I couldn’t talk with him a lot because I wanted to talk with my family first. Then I called him again. I was so happy to talk with him, and almost cried. After that, we went back home and saw my younger brother. He hadn’t changed like my older brother. Its really good thing. I think the first dinner in Japan after I left NZ was not special for everyone except for me. But It was special for me, I could eat dinner which my mother cooked ,and I could eat dinner with my family. I thought I loved Japan!!! The best thing that I think is I can take a bath everyday. When I was in NZ, I just could have a shower ,moreover the time was limited. I could have a shower just for five minutes. So, the bath time is one of things to do which I was looking forward to doing. I love Japan!!!! The next day, my mother had a day off maybe for me, and we went shopping together. My mother said that she could but any clothes for me, but I said that I didn’t need. She always bought something for me though she doesn’t buy a lot of things for herself. I had a good time with her to talk a lot. I didn’t have money left after coming back to Japan, but I promised to go to Hyougo to see my boyfriend, so we decided the date and I stayed at his house for five or six days. I greeted to his mother and one of his older sister, but I was too nervous to talk a lot, and I think I forgot to say my name when I saw them. I should have prepared something previously. Almost all of the day, his mother cooked lunch and dinner for us. Everything was very delicious, it is not flattery! I really thought so. He always woke up around eleven, sometimes I was annoyed by him, but I had a great time with him, and thanks to him, I didn’t need to spend a lot of money. I didn’t need to pay for accommodation because it was his house. We didn’t do anything special like sightseeing though I wanted to go a lot of places, I think I had a good time. We promised to see each other in my hometown again and I went back my home. By the way, my younger brother was a student for an examination to University. I was uneasy to wait his result. He already finished the examination while I was in Hyougo, and just waited for the result. When he was supposed to get an acceptance letter from university, I worked. I couldn’t help concentrating my job, so I rang my younger brother up. He said he passed the exam!! I was so happy that I told my co-worker about it. I was so happy!!!!! The begging of March after I got the happy news, my boyfriend came to my hometown. He supposed to come here in March 11th, but he came the previous day. I told him that I worked until 4pm, and he came to my workshop at around 3pm for surprise. I was so surprised at what happened and I froze for a few second, but I was so happy. He ate miso noodles and talked with me a little. There was Miharu and she finished job at 3pm, she talked with him until I finished my job. After I finished my job, I changed my clothes and went to dentist with him because I didn’t know that he came here that day.I had some inkling of it, but I was not sure. Anyway, when I finished my appointment at dentist, we went to my home and he saw my mother, we talked a little and he and I went to Nagoya to have dinner. I wanted him to have local specialty in Nagoya. He had Hitsumabusgi. He said that the taste was wonderful and he looked pleased. We enjoyed a lot. We stayed together for two night three days in Nagoya. We had a lot of local specialty. Hithsmabushi, Tebasaki and Miso katsu at Yabaton. We had the biggest meal at the restaurant which is called Waraji tonkasu. We always had big meals, When we went to Sukiya, we had big size one . My stomach becomes bigger when I’m with him. We spent a lot of money, but I don’t regret about that, I used a lot of money, but we enjoyed that much more for it. I enjoyed a lot. When it was the time he needed to go back his home, I cried a lot. I was so sad to say good bye because he would move to Shimane where further city than his hometown from my house. I know it can’t be helped to say something because he moved there because of his job. I know I’m getting busy this year to continue to study English and find job, so it’s a good situation between us now. If I could see him anytime, I would see him and I couldn’t concentrate the things which I have to do now. This year and next year is going to be busy, but I’ll do my best. I will continue to write diary in English to keep my English and watch DVD in English. I hope my English is getting better.
thanks.
